Three extras instead of a difficult-to-understand name
Roborock names three practical differences in its own model comparison: main brush, wiper arm and drying. These features are more tangible for the purchase decision than the name abbreviation. Before comparing prices, write down which of these solves a problem in your apartment. If nothing is on the list, you don't automatically have to pay more for the larger equipment.
Hair care: Consider brush construction
The S5V uses DuoDivide; the QV 35A has a solid rubber brush. This makes the S5V an interesting candidate if you have regular hair growth. We do not derive any maintenance-free use from this. Check the side brush, axles and wheels on both devices, especially if there are long hairs or threads on the floor.
wiping arm and drying in everyday life
An extendable mop can help on baseboards. Warm air drying is an understandable convenience argument, especially when wiping frequently. Neither of these replaces emptying the dirty water. In an open-plan apartment that is rarely wiped, this added value may be less than in a kitchen that is cleaned daily.
How to make the pricing decision
Open both offers and compare the same delivery type: new device, matching station and comparable accessories. Only then decide on the additional charge. A lower price for used goods or a differently named Qrevo model is not an equivalent comparison. Save the exact model name before ordering.
