An effective main brush, automatic suction power adjustment and consistent mop protection are important for carpets. Deep pile often remains an exclusion zone.
Measure carpet height
Compare pile height and manufacturer's instructions for raising the mop. A mop that is raised but still grazing can transfer moisture.
brush contact
rubber rollers are often easier to care for hair. What remains crucial is the contact with the carpet and whether the robot reliably recognizes the surface.
Exclusion zones make sense
Fringes, light rugs and very dark carpets can cause problems. Digital exclusion zones or physical removal are often more reliable than maximum automation.
