Furniture height before function list

eufy states a height of 85 mm for the C20. In the case of deep sofas or beds, this is a concrete reason to take a closer look. The free height should still not fit exactly to the millimeter. Check crossbars, cables and loose fabric undersides. A robot that drives in and then gets stuck doesn't save any work there.

Both offer the convenience of an automated dock

Automatic emptying, washing and drying of the mops reduces repetitive handling. The differences can therefore be found in everyday life and the floor plan, not just in the presence of a station. Plan an accessible parking space and a short path to the water. Bags, pads and filters are also part of the cost consideration.

Prevent the robot from mopping over carpets

For the X20+, Xiaomi explicitly describes the carpet configuration in the app. For both candidates, check whether your runners fit the selected wiping strategy. For sensitive carpets, we would plan separate trips or exclusion zones. A small mop stroke is no substitute for checking pile height, fringes and sensitivity to moisture.

Our decision when on a limited budget

When the C20 opens up an otherwise inaccessible area under furniture, that is a tangible benefit. If this difference is missing in your apartment, compare current offers, accessories and operation. Don't buy just because of a discount percentage: the lowest overall price of a suitable device is more relevant than the largest difference to a recommended retail price.
