Two different approaches to hair

Dreame calls the TriCut brush for the L40 Ultra A and the HyperStream double brush for the L40s Pro Ultra. Both designs address hair but work differently. The A is flatter, the Pro can help with transitions

The manufacturer dimensions are 97 mm for the A and 103.5 mm for the L40s Pro Ultra. This is relevant if space under the sofa is limited. The advertised 40 mm for the Pro, however, refers to a double step; Dreame says 22 mm for a single step. This does not guarantee a four centimeter high vertical edge.

ward care is the stronger pro argument

The L40s Pro Ultra offers hot water mop washing and hot air drying. The A is described as air drying. If you mop almost every day, this feature is a good reason to take a closer look at the Pro. For infrequent wiping trips, the lower overall price may be more important. Even with the Pro, the dirty water tank and washing area remain regular maintenance points.

No recommendation without model addition

L40 Ultra, L40 Ultra A, L40 Ultra AE and L40s Pro Ultra may not be interchanged in the offer. Accessory lists and comparison tables in stores in particular can show several variants next to each other. Our decision would be: first check the furniture height and transitions, then weigh up station comfort and price. A higher-sounding model name alone is not enough.
