What multi-card function means
The robot can save floor plans on multiple levels and recognize rooms or zones. How a floor without a station is started varies depending on the manufacturer and app version.
Station remains on a level
The second floor lacks automatic emptying, mop washing and water replenishment until return to dock. If used frequently, a second compact robot can be more practical than a large all-in-one dock.
Testing stairs safely
Clean sensors, keep heels clear and observe the first runs. Very dark deposits, reflections or unusual edges can affect detection.
Limits this selection
- crash sensors do not replace safe observation of the first journeys.
- Wiper fluid cannot be refilled automatically without a station.
- A heavy all-in-one dock should not be worn regularly.
