The X50 is 89 mm high with the sensor lowered; The Saros 10R does not require a classic laser turret. A piece of furniture with limited free space can therefore be a real exclusion criterion. Measure at the lowest crossbar and take bumps into account. A nominally suitable height without a reserve is not reliable planning.

High thresholds: it's the shape that counts

Dreame differentiates between 42 mm single step and 60 mm double step under manufacturer conditions for the X50. These values ​​are not a guarantee for a six centimeter high vertical heel. Photograph and measure difficult profiles. If the edge is unfavorable, a suitable ramp may be more practical than a blanket switch to the premium class.

The Saros uses StarSight, the X50 a movable DToF sensor with additional obstacle detection. Both have rotating, removable mops. This is interesting for separate suction trips. When the premium price is understandable

If a cheaper device cannot travel under your furniture or cannot reach important rooms because of a threshold, the surcharge is easier to justify.
