Sealed, oiled or waxed
The surface structure determines moisture tolerance. Sealed parquet is usually more robot-friendly; Oiled or waxed surfaces may require special care products and very little water.
Avoid scratches
Regularly check the wheels, side brush and underside for sand or small stones. A clean robot is more important on sensitive floors than a particularly high Pa rating.
Start with little water
Start in an inconspicuous area and with a small amount of water. After driving, check whether moisture remains in the joints or whether streaks appear.
Limits this selection
- Standing moisture can put a strain on joints and damaged seals.
- Trapped sand can cause scratches.
- Manufacturer approvals of the floor take precedence over general recommendations.
